They work for us. They are our leaders and should be giving us statements and directions

Can you be certain that GOPer voters won't also be swarming their elected's phone and social media outlets? Do you think voters and non-voters are monolithic in their red/blue left/right attitude when it comes to annihilating another country and potentially using nukes?
