That is especially the case in the economic sphere. Much of the world is rapidly pivoting away from denominating trade in dollars. The days of trading oil in dollars is gone. The dollar is rapidly losing it's status as the world's reserve currency. The BRICs countries are coming into their own as a major trading block, again without depending on the dollar. Countries are going to turn away from buying U.S. debt. That will result in higher borrowing costs to support our outsized debt. This is very much like the decline of Great Britain after WWII when their empire evaporated.

In summary, Trump has screwed us.
