The way I put it is that he doesn't have the skills to work in a democracy."
A few of the skills that are needed are:
-- numero uno: patience
--the ability to compromise (to be mature enough to know you can't have it your way 100% of the time)
--interpersonal communication skills. To be able to tactfully negotiate with people in your own party and the opposition party
--be a good listener
--overall knowledge of the American form of government: the relationship of the executive branch to the judicial to the Congress
What is he? Someone who inherited wealth and "worked" in a hierarchical command structure--exactly the opposite of what democracy is. Because he is a narcissist, he cannot be a good listener. He's never had to develop tact or work in relationships to others.
And what does he seek to do? Change an entire governmental system to his style. This has to be the hardest thing in the world to do. It is fraught with disappointment and failure because you're fighting an entire governmental system full of people educated to enact governance in a certain way.
I cringe when I read posters saying that he gets away with everything. He's never had accountability. Maybe not in the traditional sense, but every step of the way for him has been a tedious. uphill battle. In the end, everything he put into place will be dismantled. All the pictures, all the names, all the cheesy gold crap everywhere--it will all be gone.
