10. Couple things, three actually ...

Yesterday

1) This is an outstanding read.
2) I recall having exactly one conversation concerning my religious preference. I didn’t follow any religion and hadn’t since about 10 years old. The second supervisor I had was slightly dismayed that I had put Buddhist on my dog tags. He asked and I told him I had none so I just picked one. His response was “what if something happened to you and your grandmother had to sit through a Buddhist ceremony “???

3) When I was on my way to Columbia to fight for bush 1’s drug war, not once did anyone ask what religion anybody was. No one gave a shit. If you’re dead, you’re dead.
