We didn't go to the parade because the underground was too crowded so we decided to sit it out. Low and behold the parade came to us, they got lost and came down the street of our hotel, which was the Bastille hotel on Bastille square. We had a front row seat, nobody was there, we could walk up and pet the horses. The military had a map out on the hood of their jeep trying to find where they should be. It was wonderful, we had a great time, but I wouldn't want to count on them to find their way if we needed them.
