Man that takes me back. My great grandfather used to say that all the time when he’d yell at the TV. I don’t think I’ve heard anyone else ever say it.

He loved things like Cape Cods with lots of ice, and playing penny stocks. And above all, the Cleveland Browns.

He loved to give advice on any number of things. Sometimes he was right. He also loved to demonstrate his skills at prognostication, as he called it. Mostly on sports. And man was he terrible at making sports predictions! Every September my brother and I would say to him “Stop it! The Browns are never going to win a Super Bowl!” and we’d laugh and laugh.

He died about 25 years ago but I still think of him every fall. Thanks for unlocking a core childhood memory. Pop Pop was always good for a laugh and a fun time.
