(5,452 posts)28. "TV Networks Humiliate Trump Over His Address to the Nation" (Daily Beast)
Cable news networks and broadcast channels appear to be noncommittal on airing President Donald Trumps forthcoming address on Thursday.
Trump announced on Truth Social that he would be making a primetime address to the nation at 9 p.m. Thursday, but did not give further details on the subject matter.
MS Now first reported that the president is planning to speak about voting machine security and announce apparent declassified intelligence reports that the White House claims reveal plans by other countries to interfere in the 2020 election.
Major broadcast networks, including ABC News, CBS News, and NBC News, as well as cable networks like Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC, have not responded to the Daily Beasts repeated inquiries about their Thursday night programming.

Also, many liberals have made the argument for why the news networks should NOT broadcast this speech:
And, in my humble opinion, their regular programming would probably get better ratings, which justify their advertising prices--- and it's ALWAYS about the MONEY, isn't it ???
Trump isn't the 'money-maker' he used to be--- when a majority of the people are probably more apt to 'change the channel' when they see him on TV--- WHY would the networks want to RUN his stupid ass for an un-defined period of time?? LOL
He's a loser.
