But how does it make sense to limit availability. Don't mandate it, don't pay for it. But why couldn't someone willing to pay for it choose to get it, and insurance companies can make their own cost/benefit analysis to decide whether to cover it. Because it's not about any of that, it's about knee jerk opposition AND forcing their views on everyone else. That is the only way they feel like they won, freedom (like everything else to them) is a zero sum game.
