Epstein showed Trump a mansion he wanted to buy because he wanted Trump's opinion about what to do about the swimming pool. Behind his back, Trump undercut Epstein and acquired the mansion for himself. Trump sold the mansion for millions in profit.
See Trump was okay with what Epstein did with "girls on the younger side." He saw an opportunity to stab Epstein in the back, make some money and so he took it.
