A few years ago, for some reason I ended up checking out the faculty roster at my alma mater, a small, enlightened liberal arts college. In the economics department, the newest hire stuck out like a sore thumb. Didn't take long to figure out that she was a koch bot.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for including diverse views in academia. But, the scholarly achievements of the other faculty members stood in sharp contrast to her skimpy CV.
