6. The Guardians on the Bridge spanning the Cuyahoga River have been a part of Cleveland forever!

So changing the baseball team from the Cleveland Indians to the Guardians seemed a logical and right move to make. These statues that watch over the West and East sides of Cleveland have been there for decades since 1932. The west side of Cleveland was Lorraine Blvd. The east side became Carnegie Blvd.
