Its so interesting and begins to help explain why so many of my interns over the last decade-plus cant write well. They turn in drafts that are just word salad, like they dont understand that when you write youre supposed to be communicating something (and doing so effectively and persuasively in my line of work). If youre not a good reader, you cant be a good writer. Maybe you dont know that writing is supposed to make sense because when you read, it doesnt.
