And it fails to get how extortion works. If you cave, it’s not as if things will get better. It may be hard even if you don’t cave but at least you will have tried to move in the direction of actual sanity.
Whether it is ransomware, trash like nudge theory or any other form of capitulation to soft/hard force/manipulation, caving ensures you are screwed.
Flight/pretending to agree in the face of a gun, if fight is hard, that I get. Hey Galileo or was it Copernicus? I forget which of the two it was-one of them pretended to agree with the religious mafia of their time, but I forget who.
But that’s never for personal gain-that’s to survive and escape from alarming creeps.

Well they can be that way in their hells. But they needn’t expect to take over all of reality endlessly.
