Why don't we just use standard time and change normal business hours/school hours. Its the same difference.

It gets dark at the same actual time, the only difference is what artificial time the clock says.

Because no one wants it to get dark when the clock says 7:30 (or whatever) in the Summer

I've never cared what the clock says, in relation to whether the sun is up or down.

This was done before back in the 70s, and they had to stop it 'cause there were multiple fatalities -- mostly school
