8. I don't understand how "the opposition" can not address the criminal aspects of what these agencies are doing.

A real snooze-fest. I realize much of the FCC business is, by its nature, wonky. And I didn't listen to every minute of the video. But I took in bits of 5 or 6 Dems doing the questioning. I didn't see any challenge to the criminal behavior where networks are threatened. In this case, section 326 of the Communications Act is not a felony subject to a prison sentence, but there may be other laws that the FCC is breaking that could have prison sentences.

Obviously, what the Postmaster testified he was going to do was a felony all day long. What Trump is doing with his insider trading is a felony all day long. and if people in Commerce are part of that conspiracy, then the oversight questioning should call their attention to the prison terms they could be facing.

That is the kind of thing that will get the media attention, and will cause some of the sycophants to choose to not do Trump's bidding.

The minority is given equivalent time during the questioning. Some of that time should be used Bluetus 6 hrs ago #12

What I meant is that the rules provide for that. And the chair has broad latitude to administer the clock Bluetus 5 hrs ago #14
We have done that when we have Chaired Committees BumRushDaShow 4 hrs ago #15
Agreed. My point is only that EVERY chair should be prepared to deal harshly Bluetus 2 hrs ago #16
