of WWII. Human waves and repeated frontal assaults. Back then it was Stalin who kept pushing his generals to attack no matter the cost. Now Putin is following the same playbook. Stalin started listening to his generals after awhile. Putin doesn’t seem to care enough to make any adjustments. And back in 41 the Russians were fighting for their homeland. Now they are the invaders so I’m guessing a lot of soldiers aren’t all that motivated. I don’t think we are necessarily getting all the truth from the Ukrainian side but it sure seems like the Russian people are being greatly misled so young men died for the old politicians’ egos.
