But that looks like a Maine Coon. I had a mixed Maine Coon cat years ago. While he had a short hair coat, he was physically large and had huge paws with the typical Main Coon tuft of hair between the pads of his paws. He had the typical, American Short Hair breed’s attitude towards water/getting wet: Unlike Maine Coons, he hated water, outside of drinking it. He loved to dip his paw in water and then drink off his paws, though. 🤷‍♂️

Unfortunately, we lost both him and his sister to diabetes and its neuropathic effects. Those symptoms didn’t become apparent until it was too late. 😞
