In his 2008 interview with Mojo magazine, Brian May said he wrote the piece with his bandmate and co-founder, Freddie Mercury, in mind. He alluded that Freddie, now deceased, had a big love for women and men with big buttocks.

It was fitting because Freddie was the lead vocalist of the band, and he certainly poured his heart and soul into the song while recording it. His point was made — yes, Freddie loved voluptuous people.

The only thing inappropriate about it is people reading meanings into it that aren't there.
