11. I used a 1200 back in my DJ-days... but it didn't belong to me, it was the property of the night club.

I couldn't afford the Technics SL1200 for home use... I just had a couple of Sanyo POS belt drive turntables for playing and practicing at home (and a barebones basic Realistic cross-fade mixing board... a mere $20 on ebay now.)

As tempting as it is to try and recreate my djing and club experience... it would cost too much. I'm just looking for a quality turntable without wow and flutter issues, without motor hum and resonance issues. I'm confident that this one will fit the bill.
