10. A Couple Things

First, they've been in Music Appreciation before. You can post them there, but it might be redundant.
Second, that's not the band. That's just me. I've got a 16 track digital recording console in my basement. So, I played a scratch track on acoustic and voice.
Played drums to that. Added bass. Then put in rhythm guitar.
Next step was to sing it for real over the 3 keeper tracks. (Then erasing the scratch track)
Then I added other tracks for sweetening. Harmonies were always the last thing I did.
The first song (All Along The Watchtower) is a Dylan tune, made famous by Hendrix. My version is radically different than either of those.
The last track is a Velvet Underground song, Sweet Jane. Again, very different than the original.
The project was sort of like a jazz player taking an old standard and taking it someplace else.
