The 20-year-old woman who was severely hurt in the Feb. 14 tunnel collision outside of Green River, Wyoming, is in the care of "incredible medical teams," her family says.
Daryn Macy was hospitalized after the 26-vehicle crash in and outside the Green River westbound tunnel. Three other people two men from Rawlins and one from Canada died in the crash. Several others escaped the tunnel as fire and explosions surged through it.
Daryn Macy's father Larry Macy sent a statement Saturday to Cowboy State Daily via a University of Utah Hospital spokeswoman thanking the community for its support and also to ask for privacy.
