Some of your other posts showed that you know nothing about Illinois politics. Mendoza could win it, and Frerichs could step into her current job quite easily.

Listen to her speak some time. She can speak about budget details for an hour with no notes! And Frerichs is a very caring person. He shows up for everything and actually answers questions.

I will see both of them in Springfield on August 15 and 16th.
