This is a free extension that blocks most ads from the right side of your Facebook page. Other posters gave you good advice about getting rid of ads in your newsfeed. But this extension might be helpful to you and others. I like this because the only thing on the right side of my fb page are my contacts who are active, and on my left, the groups and pages I use.
