hasn't been at or below this level since Sept 2024.

Great news for those with intermediate bond portfolios who have suffered mightily for about 5 years now.

5 years ago, the yield was about 1.55%

For bonds, when yields rise, prices/values fall.

For people without substantial intermediate or long-term stuff, but have new money to invest, the drop in yields is of course unfortunate.

Perhaps add the change of the index in addition to value. Like +125.58, or something. question everything Friday #2

If you do add change from the previous Friday or whatever, I would much rather it be a percentage change /nt progree Saturday #3
