1. Treasury 10 year - lowest yield it's been in about 1 1/2 years except for one day last October, and before that

hasn't been at or below this level since Sept 2024.

Great news for those with intermediate bond portfolios who have suffered mightily for about 5 years now.

5 years ago, the yield was about 1.55%

For bonds, when yields rise, prices/values fall.

For people without substantial intermediate or long-term stuff, but have new money to invest, the drop in yields is of course unfortunate.
