Question about extra payments. [View all]
Does anyone know why someone who was receiving a regular disability payment of about 500/month would get an additional amount of 2200 on June 1? That seems strange to me and I can't find anything about it other than folks getting extra once they are approved, but this is long after having been approved and receiving regular deposits.
FYI I have no contact with this person, but a third person monitors their bank account and noticed it, so there is no communication to find out if there was a notice of explanation sent to the beneficiary.
