2. No, never had any pest problems in the garden.

I am fortunate to have an army of lizards in my garden to rid it of insects. And my dogs love chasing the lizards. When I let my dogs out, they always ran straight to the fava bean jungle so I know the lizards were active there. It's our own little eco system.

I also grew peas and string beans in the nearby area and no problems with them.
