You can't make it harder to get, and carry a gun than it is to exercise any other constitutional right, such as free speech or voting. You can't restrict it to any greater degree than the right to protest. All this bill, and ones like it, are going to do is cost money to fight and be tossed out anyway.

The law of the land is that you have to have pretty solid reasons to DENY someone a carry permit, such as a restraining order or felony convictions.
