I was home and went to the West L.A. VA Hospital. Updated my financial status, posed for my picture, and was told it would be mailed to me in two weeks. The whole process took as long as it took me to stand in line to grab a coffee and danish beforehand, easy peasy.
I caught a glimpse of the new design, and it resembles the OP image.
BTW The obligatory picture of the POTUS was missing from the foyer due to vandalism, apparently it happens a lot nowadays.
