5. I took part in a Walk to End Alzheimer's on Sept 10th and the atmosphere was wonderful.

People are so positive and they say there are good things happening in the treatment of this horrid disease.

I raised $605.00 on my Walk to End Alzheimer's page and did all my fundraising on Facebook!
I was totally amazed at the support and so thankful for all the donations.

I started my 'goal' at $100.00 thinking it would be a miracle if I could raise that much and within a day I upped my goal to $150.00, it wasn't long before I upped it again.

I'm looking forward to next year's walk. Maybe I'll shoot for $1000.00 (one thousand dollars) I think I can do it.

This was a big thing for me. I've been medically disabled now for 3 years and I barely get out of the house .. the walk was 2 miles long. I did it. I walked alone with the memories of those I've lost. But I did it. It took me 4 days to recover LOL but dagnabbit I did it

I hope you're all a little less sad today.
