Celebrating my dad's life tomorrow [View all]

He passed on Saturday in his sleep surrounded by his family. He was a week away from 86. He enjoyed a great life, so its hard to say we're grieving, although I will miss him dearly. I had the privilege of caring for him the past 5 years and the last couple of months he was mostly out of it, but he fought till the end. He died exactly how he wanted....at home. Hospice care made his journey easier, and I will forever be indebted to this great organization.
