For the first time since 2002, I am not an active care-giver. While that statement gives me a sense of liberty, it also reminds me of what I have endured....and what I have lost. I'm still kinda numb. Don't know what the future will hand me, but I'm definitely gonna make the best of what time I have left. I have got to dissolve my dad's estate, so that'll take a few months, and after that, we plan on spending some time in the Virgin Islands.....might even try to move there. Life will probably still be familiar, one foot in front of the other ya know. Just keep on keepin on. It's what I do.
