too discouraged since this IS Georgia and I really didn't see any promotion for it leading up to the rally. I only became aware of it through an email because I had signed up online with Mayors Against Illegal Guns.

Activists were signing up volunteers and one woman I spoke with who has been active in other causes (she specially mentioned women's rights) said she thought time and determination would build the movement.

My impression was that there were more women than men in attendance and that reinforced my feeling that women are out in front on this issue......and I believe in the power of women!
