The NRA lost a battle bigtime in the National reciprocity amendment. It failed 57-43 [View all]

This poison pill would have meant it would have been worse for states like NY and California and others that have better gun control

This is a major defeat for the NRA

We lost a few battles today, but we won a big one.

This saves lives in those states that already have good control.

We shall win other battles in the coming decade.

DAMN that more people will die. Many more people.
But thankfully NY and California will not have theirs lessened.

And President Obama is giving them hell.

And this will resonate in 2014.

We lose a few battles, but we will win the war.
