In Boot Camp we had 80+ guys, thrown together to learn to march and it took about two weeks before looked even half bad. We were forced to learn under the pressure of punishment, which we tried desperately to avoid. If you've been in Boot Camp, it's a given that they find some way to punish everyone at least once. Yesterday, these guys came from different disciplines, probably hadn't marched since Boot Camp, had a couple weeks practice. Not under 24 hour control and not too happy to even be there, I'm sure they were given some slack. I only watched some clips, but I figure they did OK for a birthday parade.
PS. Ya think more than a few were hung over ?
