I feel that Democratic Socialists are best at addressing issues in urban centers but maybe not so much in rural areas but Cuomo had to resign in disgrace and would most likely serve the business interests over the rest of the city.

De Blasio actually seems the most normal of the recent mayors Giuliani, Bloomberg, and Eric Adams
