6. In the dark days immediately after the election

he was the first elected Dem who went on offense and did not seem cowed. Very early on, he was on Chris Hayes' show saying that the Dems needed to wake up. This was when people I still admire like Clyburn were floating ideas like Biden pardoning trump (before trump took office but after the election). He was like a breath of fresh air. So I give him a lot of credit for that. I'm not in any hurry to pick a candidate, but he is definitely in my top two or three.
