He talks about immigration agencies getting info from power companies to try to discern whether more people are living in a home than expected.
Electric usage is obtained from power companies to attempt to discern whether someone is growing weed...
Police & ICE access the meter data with subpoenas vs warrants.
Then, he states, they storm the house with armed goons, often for no reason!

Remember, they're only trying to protect us from ourselves. Don't smoke a joint. Instead, saturate your food in Round Up & gorge on that. 
Ps - some states allow consumers to completely or partially opt out of data collection from smart meters.
I have nothing at all to hide but would use all opt outs avail me me, however, sadly, I'm stuck in the red shithole TN which has no opt out.
