And if they take another nap this November, it's pretty much a guarantee of chaos all the way to November 2028 and "President Donald Trump Jr."
Because Don Jr WANTS it, has said he DESERVES it and is the "rightful heir to MAGA," Trump most likely will not "endorse" Vance, Rubio's a little too brown for the MAGAts, and the ONLY WAY Trump will WILLINGLY LEAVE the White House without causing a scene is if he's succeeded by someone who will cover his ass 24/7.
There's so much at stake, and I'm not convinced, as of today, that America "gets" it.
I'm not convinced that a lot of people outside of DU would be able to keep up with a conversation on this, because they haven't been paying attention on a day-to-day basis.
They know Trump sent out a video of the Obamas as apes, and I'm sure a lot of people dismissed it as "that's just Trump being Trump."
If there is a "sea change," and America...on a bigger scale than what we're seeing today...starts speaking out about this, I'll feel more confident about November 2026 and 2028.
Today, I'm thinking "74,000,000 Harris voters" and have no idea how many more BEYOND that will put their money where their mouths are in November, because talk is STILL cheap. Nothing that ANYONE says will matter half as much as their actually showing up to VOTE.
