The Constitution only says what the Supreme Court says it said.

Supreme Court Justices are appointed by politicians.

The Court has no enforcement mechanism so anybody in a position of power can ignore what the Court has affirmed.

We actually see it quite often. Many times court rulings are ignored without any consequences.

Our Constitutional Republic is only as viable as the Rule of Law.
