Marc Elias is right. The media has a duty to inform honestly and correctly, what is said to the electorate. It won't happen, it will be exactly like last time when it was necessary for the media to be honest. This time however, the line is drawn, and it is time to step up and and loudly proclaim the facts.
You do that by writing letters to the editor, by picketing news outlets for their lack of veracity and public duty. You do that by phoning any outlet that will listen, You do that by going after the people who remain silent. If the silence comes from the left, pull their donations, find someone to replace them, Now is the time to rise up and be heard. Anyone who will not stand behind that should simply sit down and shut up. Demand proof, not engineered proof, demand the truth from Trump and his sycophants. Put Trump on the offensive, put the onus on him to tell the truth, because once the truth is told everything that comes after it will be dead silence. There will be nothing left for him to do but watch. The time is now, not 2028. We are where we are because the people who need to stand up won't. This is the biggest reason why Democrats are angry. Let your anger be heard startung Thursday.
