... but at least it's not taxpayer dollars. I seem to recall reading about a specific stipulation to that effect, but it was a few years ago, so I won't swear to it. As much of a sleaze-weasel as Trump is, I don't think the court would let him pick America's pocket to satisfy a personal judgement against him.
His fellow billionaire sleaze-weasels are another story, but you can bet they'd expect a return on their investment.
