2. An incredible film, we saw it on the big screen when it was in theaters.

And you're right, I'm glad I wasn't forewarned about the ending, it was totally outside of the box the movie had drawn me into.

As an aside, we've attended the Palm Springs Film Festival for at least the last fifteen years. Six or so years ago, John Lithgow was in one of the featured movies and was in attendance. I forget the film we were watching, it wasn't the one he was in, but after the film was over they opened up for a few questions. The guy sitting right next to me raised his hand and I was totally stunned, it was John Lithgow! After he asked his question he left, all the while my mind was stumbling in a failed attempt to say hello and comment on his role in, yeah, that's right, I was so shell-shocked I couldn't think of a damned thing! Of course as soon as he left I came up with one. Oh well.

And I highly recommend Conclave!
