While I didn't know exactly how it was going to end, I thought the previously unknown cardinal from Afghanistan seemed a bit feminine. I suspected something was up with his character.

It funny because my wife totally missed the ending and thought Ralph Fiennes was elected Pope. She watched it on a plane and was pretty distracted viewing it.
